Rutgers SCJ at 50: Alumni Kickoff Celebration

The School of Criminal Justice (SCJ) at Rutgers-Newark turns 50 in 2024!

We're launching this momentous occasion with a series of events throughout the next year, starting with Rutgers SCJ at 50:  Fifty Years of Public Engagement for Safety and Justice.

This kickoff celebration will feature a distinguished lineup of keynote speakers, including:
Nancy Cantor, Hunter College President and former Rutgers-Newark Chancellor
Ras Baraka, Mayor of Newark
Nancy La Vigne, NIJ Director and alum who will interview a panel of SCJ partners.

This portion of the event is free and open to the public.

Following the program, alumni are exclusively invited to network and reconnect with their peers over lunch.
