Join us at Big Bear Gear, a Rutgers alumni-owned small business, for a cool, relaxing, and adventure‑filled float down the beautiful Delaware River. We’ve planned the perfect summer escape—easygoing, scenic, and full of that classic Jersey outdoor charm.

Registration is required to attend this event. The deadline to register is Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept walk-in attendees for this event.
Know Before You Go!
- Your registration gets you access to a specific timeslot, either 12:30 PM or 1:30 PM.
- You must arrive 60 minutes prior to your time slot to check in, receive safety instructions, and board your shuttle to the river entry point. The shuttle will depart 30-45 minutes prior to your time slot.
- Your trip down the river can range from 90 minutes to 3+ hours, depending on river conditions. Your ticket is for one trip down the 5-mile stretch of the river, regardless of duration.
- Guests must be 8 years or older to participate. Under high river conditions, age minimums may increase. For children under 12, a link rope must be used to connect to an adult’s tube.
- All participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult (18+).
- Waiver is required for all participants; a parent or legal guardian must sign the waiver for anyone under age 18.
- Alcohol is not permitted. All bags and coolers are subject to inspection.
- Cancellations due to weather or river conditions occur only at the discretion of Big Bear Gear River Tubing.
