Reunite at Rutgers on Homecoming weekend, to celebrate alumni reunion in New Brunswick, honoring the 50th class of 1976 and additional milestone classes. Come back to Rutgers, where excellence is our legacy.
Join a day-long celebration with activities on the New Brunswick campus. It will include a morning program, a luncheon with classmates and university leadership, a celebration of traditions, a campus bus tour, a closing reception, and more. Reconnect with classmates, relive memories of your student experience, explore campus today, and share your Rutgers pride!

1976 marks a landmark year for Rutgers in many ways!
- A third of 1976 graduates included the first class of women to attend all four years, the Pioneering Women of Rutgers.
- Rutgers Mason Gross School of the Arts was established. Learn more.
- Men’s basketball entered the 1976 NCAA tournament undefeated.
- The football team posts a perfect 11-0 record.
- Bruce Springsteen rocked the College Ave Gym (The Barn).

Celebrating Rutgers and its traditions is better when shared with everyone. This fall, families of Rutgers students and alumni are welcomed to campus for Homecoming and Family Weekend from October 1-4, 2026. Members of the Rutgers community from around the world will come together at events that include entertaining programs, sporting events, a football tailgate, and much more.
