Admitted Students Day 2025

Admitted Students Day is a celebration for all students who have been accepted into Rutgers-Camden for the Fall 2025 semester. It is a mix of both first-year incoming students, transfer students, and their families and loved ones. Admitted Students Day is an opportunity for these students and their families to learn more about what Rutgers-Camden has to offer, dive deeper into our academic programs, tour campus, and connect with faculty and staff. Last year, we welcomed more than 1,000 guests to campus for Admitted Students Day! 

Event Agenda: Students and their families check-in when they arrive and head to the Gordon Theater for a welcome, Admissions session, and Q&A panel. Following the theater session there are breakout sessions by academic school. In the afternoon, we offer a lunch and information fair on the quad. We also host multiple breakout sessions hosted by different student support offices. Students and families can choose which sessions they wish to attend. Tours of the campus, residence halls, and Nursing & Science Building are available. 

Alumni Volunteers: We are seeking alumni volunteers to support us at Admitted Students Day! Volunteers would be assigned positions around campus to greet and welcome guests as well as provide directions on where to report for check in or how to find breakout sessions. Volunteers can also be placed at giveaway tables to assist admissions staff during the check-in process and at the end of the event. Lastly, we hope to have a tent during the information fair in the afternoon to represent the Alumni Association and engage with admitted students and their families. 

Volunteer Time Slots: 9:30AM-12:30AM and 12:30PM-3:00PM – one would be helping us greet, check in, and escort. The afternoon slot would be the tabling, escorts, etc.
