Career Closet Clothing Donations

The Career Closet at Rutgers–New Brunswick inaugurally served over 600 students last semester by providing free, professional attire for interviews, internships/jobs, and career fairs!

Help us prepare for another busy academic year by supporting our upcoming summer clothing drive.

Clothing Donations (New or Like-New Only)

We gladly accept donations of gently used or new professional attire, including:

• Suits (matching blazers and pants/skirts)

• Blazers and jackets in neutral/professional colors

• Solid or subtly patterned dress shirts and blouses

• Dress pants, skirts, and business-appropriate dresses (knee-length or longer)

• Professional ties

• Please note: We are unable to accept shoes, purses, jewelry, denim, sweatpants, yoga pants, or polo shirts.

Donation Drop-Off Locations & Hours

You may drop off donations in one of three convenient ways:

• College Avenue Office (106 Somerset St., 4th Floor)
  Mondays–Wednesdays, 10:00 AM–3:00 PM

• Busch Student Center Office (604 Bartholomew Rd., Piscataway)
  Wednesdays in August, 10:00 AM–3:00 PM

• Need a different time?
  Email us at careercloset@echo.rutgers.edu to schedule an alternate drop-off.

Parking Information

• College Avenue Office: Park in the Gateway Garage (7 Wall St., New Brunswick). Bring your ticket to our office for up to one hour of free parking.

• Busch Student Center: Ample parking is available in Lots 59, 60B, and 60A. You may also briefly pull up to the curb for a quick drop-off.
