The Fair Food Program: a New Approach to Agricultural and Low-Wage Labor

The Rutgers School of Environmental and Biological Sciences is collaborating with the Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations to present the talk, "The Fair Food Program: a New Approach to Agricultural and Low-Wage Labor," with special guest speaker, Susan Marquis, PhD (RC'85), on Wednesday, March 27, 2024.
Dr. Marquis is the Charles and Marie Robertson Visiting Professor and lecturer at Princeton's School for Public and International Affairs. Previously, she served as Vice President of Innovation for the RAND Corporation and was the Acting Deputy Chief of US Naval Operations. She is the author of "I am Not a Tractor! How Florida Farmworkers Took On the Fast Food Giants and Won."
The event will take place at the Rutgers Labor Education Center, in the Dominick Critelli Memorial Auditorium, beginning at 6 p.m. The program is expected to run until about 8 p.m. Hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be provided.
This event is co-sponsored by the Rutgers School of Environmental and Biological Sciences and the Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations. RSVP deadline is March 13, 2024.
