Set sail with us for an amazing Jersey Shore adventure! Rutgers is partnering with the Cape May Whale Watch & Research Center for a 3-Hour Whale, Dolphin & Bird Watch private charter exclusively for Rutgers alumni—a perfect blend of conservation education, coastal breezes, and relaxed social time.
What to Expect:
⛵Climb aboard the 100-ft American Star for a science-based educational experience led by expert naturalists who bring the marine world to life.
🐋Cruise the shoreline with an onboard marine biologist and naturalist searching for birds and Coastal Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins before heading 3-15 miles offshore in search of migratory Baleen Whales such as Humpback, Fin, Minke, or critically endangered Right Whales.
🐚 Enjoy a hands-on touch-tank featuring live local sea creatures.
When: Saturday, June 13, 2026
Check-in: 12:30 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Departure: 1:30 p.m.
Return: 4:30 p.m.
