A diversity champion revolutionizing corporate America by turning inclusion into a business advantage and creating lasting change

Luke Visconti brings international attention to the benefits of diversity in corporate America. He is cofounder and partner of DiversityInc Media, the Newark-based company that is a recognized catalyst in moving diversity from a compliance mandate to a serious business discipline. With partner Foulis Peacock, Visconti founded DiversityInc in 1998. Today, the company publishes DiversityInc, a monthly print magazine; DiversityInc.com, a daily news site; and the “DiversityInc Top 50 Companies for Diversity” list, which objectively showcases excellence in diversity management. He has appeared as a commentator in a variety of media outlets and as a guest lecturer to business groups, nonprofit organizations, and corporations, communicating about the bottom-line benefits of diversity. Visconti is a trustee of Bennett College for Women (a Historically Black College), a foundation board member of New Jersey City University (a Hispanic-Serving Institution), and a member of the external diversity advisory boards of the U.S. Navy and the World Bank. In 2006, Visconti helped form the DiversityInc Foundation, which supports such causes as the DiversityInc Endowed Academic Scholarship Fund and the James Ramsey Fund for the Employment Opportunity Fund, both at Rutgers–Newark.
