Sharon Fordham, former CEO of WeightWatchers.com, Inc., is a corporate innovator who early recognized—and seized on—the internet as a powerful new tool for business productivity. She led the startup of WeightWatchers.com, a leader in online weight loss programming and web subscriptions. In prior posts at Nabisco, Inc., where she was senior vice president of marketing at the Nabisco Biscuit Company, president of the Lifesavers Company, and president of global e-business, she proved her ability to capture customer interest in both new and existing products. She developed and launched many well known products such as SnackWells, Teddy Grahams, Creme Savers, and Ice Breakers gum. She earned many awards, including several Edison awards for New Product of the Year and Gold Effies for Most Effective Advertising. She was also instrumental in implementing two high-traffic, industry-leading web sites: candystand.com and nabiscoworld.com. She received the New Jersey Women of Achievement Award in 1998. She has also served on several boards, including the National Confectioners Association, the Wharton Club of New York, and WeightWatchers.com.
