Reilly Bold Center Externship Site Mentor

A dynamic career exploration initiative that connects Douglass students with professionals like you! Hosted by the BOLD Center at Douglass Residential College, this program provides students with short-term, hands-on experiences to explore careers, build skills, and grow their professional networks. As a mentor, you play a key role in shaping a student’s journey.

How the Program Works:
Externships last one to two weeks and can be conducted in-person, remotely, or in a hybrid format during university breaks in January, March, and/or June. During this time, students will be matched to site mentors to gain real-world exposure by providing:

Facility Tours:
Opportunities to observe team or staff meetings
Project-based tasks (e.g., research, communications, data entry)
One-on-one mentorship and career conversations
