Nyree Oliver overcame incredible odds to become a graduating senior who belongs to four honor societies. She shared her story with donors who helped to make her Rutgers education possible, telling them, “Thank you for being the reason lives like mine are forever changed.”

Rutgers Business School celebrated 29 of its alumni, all 30 years old or younger, as rising stars in business during a dinner marking the second year of a new tradition.
New Rutgers alumni are made up of an estimated 17,917 graduates: 13,133 from Rutgers–New Brunswick and Rutgers Health; 3,123 from Rutgers–Newark; and 1,660 from Rutgers–Camden.
A renowned social scientist and president of the Louisiana State University (LSU) system since May 2021, Tate will start at Rutgers on July 1.
