After believing a college degree was unattainable, new Rutgers–Camden graduate Gichera Loman plans to pursue a master’s degree. Her success is in large part thanks to a donor-supported Rutgers program for students who have experienced the child welfare system or are at risk for homelessness.

Rutgers Business School student Esron Holder traveled the world, started a business, gained a supportive community and confidence as part of his experience living in the Honors Living-Learning Community at Rutgers University–Newark.

Nyree Oliver overcame incredible odds to become a graduating senior who belongs to four honor societies. She shared her story with donors who helped to make her Rutgers education possible, telling them, “Thank you for being the reason lives like mine are forever changed.”
