A father who hated to see his daughter and granddaughter suffer from asthma established a research fund to benefit asthma sufferers in future generations. The fund supports the work of a new research lab and its recent breakthrough of a new blood test to diagnose asthma at the Rutgers Child Health Institute of New Jersey.

Throughout her career, Jill DeSimone has served in leadership roles at several pharmaceutical companies, partnering with Rutgers to help students explore the diverse career paths available within the pharmacy profession.

Retired pharmaceutical executive Jill DeSimone has established a scholarship to support pharmacy students, sustain others in one of New Jersey’s top professions, and inspire others to do good through philanthropy.
